Apple To Utilize USB-C Charging For AirPods Max And Magic Mouse By 2024

Apple now offers USB-C charging for iPad and iPhone users, as well as the new AirPods Pro 2nd generation launched this month. But the company is ready to fully embrace charging technology and bring more products like the premium AirPods Max and even a Magic Mouse with a USB C charging port.

According to a Bloomberg report, the company will launch the new offerings sometime next year, and this month’s product line-up is just taking up space before the next-gen devices are released.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg in his regular Apple Updates has talked about the company bringing regular AirPods with USB-C and also updating the Magic accessories, which include a mouse and keyboard. All these devices could then be compatible with the new generation iMac.

Apple’s USB-C strategy varies depending on which model of the iPhone 15 series you buy this year. The Vanilla and Plus iPhone 15 supports the USB C 2.0 standard, while the iPhone 15 Pros has the USB C 3.2 standard, which is not only faster but also powerful enough to connect your iPhone to an external display and offer a 4K screen resolution.

The company has also said that the move to USB-C on the iPhone won’t just be a regular upgrade, but now you can also use standard USB-C cables with Power Delivery (PD) to charge the iPhone 15 models or even quickly charge juice. AirPods or Apple Watch.

The decision to relaunch the AirPods Pro 2nd gen with a USB C port makes business sense, but many people feel that the company should have introduced a USB-C charging case as well so that you don’t have to pay Rs 24,900 for the full upgrade.

The iPhone 15 series won’t get faster charging speeds due to the introduction of the USB-C port, but we hope that Apple will eventually offer more than 20W charging speed in its iPhones worth more than Rs 1.5 lakh these days.
